Correcting a listing

Change your website and we pick it up next time we read it. If you want that sooner, ask on the contact page and give us the page address. We then read that page and nothing else.

Removing a listing

If you prove you own the business, we remove the listing and stop reading its website. Ask on the contact page with one of these:

1. An email address on your website's domain, given with the request. We check the domain matches the listing's website.
2. A line you place on the business's own website or social page. [pending: the founder states the form of the line]
3. A document naming you against the business's registered name on the country's business name register. [pending: the lawyer states the document forms accepted]

If the business isn't a company, use either of the first two. The same proof reverses a removal, and the listing comes back with its dates.

Personal information

If information about you as a person appears here, ask us on the contact page to remove it. If your request is about your personal safety, we answer it first, within 2 days.

What happens next

We log, assess and answer every request. For a removal we answer within 14 days, and for other kinds within the days the contact page shows. What we read before a removal stays stored, and we don't publish it. If you want it erased, ask in the same request, and we assess that as its own kind.
